Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
Who these terms are with
AlchemyLab is operated by [legal entity], [registered address]. By creating an account or running the CLI you accept these terms. Questions go to [contact address].
What the service is
AlchemyLab runs AI agents against work you describe as a request, on your own computer. The content of that work stays on your computer; our servers store its structure and your configuration, as the privacy policy describes. The agents act on the files you point them at, under the gates and permissions you set.
You are responsible for what you ask for
You decide which repositories and folders the agents may touch, which commands they may run, and which gates must pass before anything is delivered. You are responsible for reviewing what comes back before you rely on it, and for the consequences of running it. Agent output can be wrong, and no gate removes the need for your judgment.
Your model provider
Model calls run against the provider you connect, on your own account and under that provider's terms and usage limits. We are not a party to that relationship, and we cannot lift a limit or a refusal that comes from them.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not use it to attack systems you do not control, to break another provider's terms, or to generate material that is illegal where you are.
Your work stays yours
You keep every right in your code, your documents and anything the agents produce for you. We claim no licence over them beyond what is needed to run the service you asked for. The AlchemyLab software, brand and site remain ours.
Price
AlchemyLab is free to use today. If that changes we will say so here and on the site before any charge, and you will be able to decline and stop using the service. Model usage is billed by your provider, not by us.
Availability
The service is provided as it is, without a warranty of any kind and without an uptime guarantee. The work runs on your computer and its content is kept there, so that content cannot be reached from another device while that computer is off or not connected.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost work, or for anything an agent did within the permissions you granted it.
Ending it
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless the law prevents it.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction]. If they change we will post the new version here and change the date at the top; continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.
